Our work included automating tasks like data syncing and inventory imports while ensuring speed and reliability.
Using nopCommerce, we built a solid foundation for handling large data volumes and introduced features like the “build a ring” tool, enabling personalized shopping. These improvements made Diamnet’s platform more efficient and reliable for retailers.
Diamnet is a leading UK platform offering a vast selection of over 1.2 million diamonds from various suppliers worldwide. It provides tools for retailers to source diamonds, customize jewelry, and stay competitive against online-only sellers.
Founded by Howard Levine, a veteran of the diamond industry, Diamnet has evolved over the years to meet the needs of modern retailers. Diamnet offers both natural and lab-grown diamonds and helps retailers create finished jewelry under the Hayes & Lake brand. The platform is also working on future features like Omni-Channel Selling to further enhance the shopping experience for both retailers and their customers.
The goal of this project was to improve Diamnet’s platform by making it more reliable and user-friendly for retailers. Diamnet aimed to provide easy access to up-to-date diamond inventories, real-time data synchronization from multiple suppliers, and tools to enhance customer shopping experiences.
One key feature added was an API allowing retailers to integrate a “build a ring” tool on their websites, enabling customers to customize rings, boosting engagement and sales. We also automated the process of importing and syncing diamond inventory data to ensure retailers had accurate, real-time information without manual updates.
Using nopCommerce, we built a flexible system that handled bulk data imports, daily synchronization of over 800,000 records, and real-time updates, making the platform faster, more efficient, and helping retailers stay competitive.
