Client Brief

'Plant Addicts' is an online plant nursery offering a wide variety of landscaping plants, houseplants, garden decor, and gardening supplies. Founded in 2017, they prioritize quality plants, excellent service, and expert care advice. Plant Addicts approached us to improve their online store by connecting it with some advanced AI tool for better product search, category display, and autocomplete suggestions.

Our Endeavor

The client asked us to improve their BigCommerce store (a popular eCommerce platform for online businesses) by making it easier for customers to find products. They asked us to connect their store with Luigi’s Box, an AI-powered tool that enhances product search and organization.

To meet our client’s requirements, we integrated Luigi’s Box with BigCommerce using APIs. This ensures that product details like name, price, description, and stock are automatically sent from BigCommerce to Luigi’s Box in real-time. Luigi’s Box then organizes category pages, improves search accuracy, and provides instant suggestions when customers type in the search bar. It also uses AI to analyze customer behavior and display personalized product recommendations. We used PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure a smooth integration. Our team thoroughly tested and fine-tuned the integration by carefully monitoring the performance, making sure the search, category pages, and autocomplete suggestions functioned smoothly.

Now, the client has an improved online store where customers can quickly find products, even if they use vague or misspelled search terms. The search bar gives better results, category pages are well-structured, and smart suggestions help customers discover products faster. This has improved the customer experience and made browsing more convenient.
