Client Brief

‘Modern States Education Alliance’ is a non-profit organization that provides free college courses to help students earn credits without tuition costs in USA. They offer various courses to prepare students for AP and CLEP exams, accepted by many colleges and universities in USA. The client approached us to enhance and modify some functionalities on their website to improve security and user experience.

Our Endeavor

The client asked us to add a widget (a box or section) on their homepage that shows personalized content when users log in. Additionally, they wanted us to modify "change email" functionality on their website, as the system was unable to send confirmation emails to users. We created a custom "Welcome" widget and placed it on the homepage to display the dynamic content as per our client’s requirements. To address issues with “change email” functionality, we developed a feature that not only updates the user’s email but also sends a verification email to confirm the change, making the process more secure and user-friendly.

The client benefits from the "Welcome" widget by enhancing user engagement and content access. The new email change feature helped our client improve security by verifying email updates, making the system more reliable.
