ASCEND Online, the only online Catholic school in British Columbia, provides K-12 programs, homeschooling support, and inclusive education to families across the province. Their mission is to foster a Christ-centered learning community that serves students with diverse needs. The client approached us to simplify task assignment by automating it and connecting it to their system on their website.

Our Endeavor

Our client needed an automated solution to add an "activation assignment" to every course on their website. They wanted it to work smoothly with their existing task and notification system, without requiring any manual input.

To meet our client’s requirements, we developed a custom Moodle-based solution. We created a script that automatically adds the activation assignment to all courses. We implemented an automatic task scheduler that ensures the activation assignment is added automatically whenever a new course is created. We delivered a fully automated system that saves our client’s time and effort. This system ensures that all courses are always updated with the necessary activation assignments, streamlining the management of assignments and notifications.
