Desktop Application Development for Electronics Industry, USA – Microframe

Client Brief

Microframe is a leading manufacturer & supplier of visual-pager system parts & accessories in the USA. We were asked to develop desktop applications for Windows and Mac for changing the setting and configuration of the visual devices.

Our Endeavor

The client provided FTDI hardware devices (visual displays) to us and also shared the set of commands which we had to use to communicate with the devices. Accessing these devices was a challenge for us and we used a plugin to overcome this issue. We created the Mac application as well as the Windows application with the same set of features. These applications allow the admin to do various activities like password reset, factory default setting and configuration change of visual displays.

Our software developers used Objective-C for Mac and C# for Windows to accomplish this desktop application development project.
