Client Brief

SOS Earthquakes (earthquake-report.com) has been providing easy-to-understand earthquake information to the people across the world since 2011. The Belgium-based client wanted us to develop Earthquake reporting native Android and iOS apps.

Our Endeavor

Our skilled iOS app developers and Android app developers worked on this project and created native apps for iOS and Android platforms. Both the apps were named as “EQ Report”. As required by the client, we added various features to these apps, i.e. earthquakes overview, setting screen, I Felt it form, notifications, etc. We made the native iOS app compatible with iOS 12.

In the “setting screen”, we created various filters for getting information about earthquakes i.e. region-wise, magnitude and depth. We developed a listing page that shows details of all the recent earthquakes. The app users can check information of a particular earthquake on the map. The “I Felt it” form allows the app users to share their experiences about an earthquake. The "experiences listing" shows the last 50 earthquake experiences of the users. Also, we created a push notification system that notifies all the app users whenever an earthquake strikes anywhere in the world. Further, we integrated the in-app purchase subscription feature to both the native apps.
