Development of Joomla Based Website - ITG

Client Brief

The client was already having a website and he wanted us to make some changes so that it starts working better.

Our Endeavor

The website provides a platform for musicians to register with the site and become members. This works as a networking site for them where they can get in touch with people sharing same passion and which can also help them to get posted about the latest happenings in the same genre.

The client wanted us to create server site validation on some specific forms. We have facilitated the users to purchase or renew their subscriptions using their PayPal details. Additionally, a Joomla login module has also been added to help the customers check if their subscription has been expired or not. The subscription data has to be saved in a database after successful payment by PayPal.

We went out of our ways to think have added run the forms functionality even if user disabled the JavaScript on browser. We have integrated the PayPal IPN feature on “Join and Renew” forms. When user successfully purchase the subscription by PayPal then subscription data will be save into the database with transaction ID and payment status also we have send the order email to user with appropriate data.

We have created the Joomla login module with subscription checking subscription expired or not. If user subscription has been expired then user can’t log in and display the message “your subscription is expired. Please renew”. We have created the functionality when user fills the Gifts and Libraries forms them mail has been sent to the user with all form data.
