Magento Website for '2ndCLOSET' – Online Women's Apparel Store

Client Brief

The client approached SynapseIndia with a requirement to design and develop an online store to sell women apparels. The online shopping store was supposed to be developed using Magento.

Our Endeavor

2ndCloset is an online store to sell stylish women apparels. This is a bilingual website, accessible in English and Portuguese languages. While developing the website, we have customized the “Rental Extension”; and have implemented new features like economizer counter.

The client approached us to create a simple stylish website. Website provides information about all the clothing products, and a user can view a product and place order for the same.

Keeping in mind the client's requirement we have created a nice and clean layout and coded it in latest HTML (div format). jQuery is used for client-side scripting and Photoshop and illustrator for graphic designing. Color scheme and typography is the biggest USP of the site which gives a natural feel and good user experience to the website while browsing.

The website offers....

“Products for sale” and “products for rent (If the product is scheduled for rent it would be temporarily unavailable for scheduled date).

 The client has provided few paid extensions for “One-step Checkout” check out an order in a step, “Rental Extension” for renting dresses, “Magic Zoom extension” to view products image with zoom.

To get dresses on rent, customers can specify the date when the dress is required. We had implemented the customized functionality to make the dress returning facility with three days at one day paid of booking as requested by the client. After booking of the dress ten days before booking and after booking date would be blocked so another user would not be able to book dress.
