Development of A Magento Based Online Store For Selling Beer Making Kit

Client Brief

The client approached SynapseIndia with his existing Magento site and wanted us to upgrade it to the latest version. Apart from that he also asked us to fix some technical issues.

Our Endeavor

Brooklynbrewshop.com is a Magento based online store selling beer making kits. We have upgraded the site to Magento's latest version. Additionally, while rectifying the existing errors of the site, we have created a separate module for the client helping him to track the orders. We have added the functionality to facilitate the admin of the site to track the orders through a CSV file. The CSV file gets generate automatically every time customers buy a product from any vendor.

The CSV then gets uploaded to the Vendor FTP using a PHP command and the vendor can take initiatives to ship the product to the customer. Once the vendor fulfils the order he will also upload the updated CSV from his end to the server on a specified folder and the order status will then be updated accordingly by the admin of the site. We have also modified the order tracking system of the site and have created different order details to communicate the exact status of the orders made on the site.
