Mobile Content Management System for Travel 'LodgeNet' Using PHP

Client Brief

Client wanted us to develop the admin panel of web services, which require fetching data from external resources and which can be managed through a CMS. Client shared with us that through the CMS, client will manage data of different wcities, users, staff, hotel content, DMA recommendations, events etc. Client also wanted us to develop a mobile application regarding the same. The application will work depending upon the data available on the CMS. There are separate servers for CMS, MySQL and web-services, and the client told us to make a bridge for communication between them.

Our Endeavor

We have designed the CMS according to the requirement of the projects using jQuery/Ajax and created functionality to fetch the xmls of hotels/events which was around 300 from external resources (wcities). We have implemented functionality where admin can login and manage wcities data, users, staff, hotel content, DMA recommendations, events etc. We have developed the web services for iPhone and Android devices depending upon the CMS. As the servers were different, accordingly we have also developed a communication bridge between servers of CMS, MySQL and web services.
