Client Brief

The Client approached SynapseIndia with a requirement of customizing his existing website . He wanted us to add a functionality to his existing website, "Beauty Storm" (www.beautystorm.com.au), where users can refer to their friends & write a review based on the same shopper to get some additional points.

Our Endeavor

Beauty Storm is an Australia based dermatalogical website. This is an Interspire based shopping cart website, engaged in selling various beauty products. Our task was to integrate the Platinum Point Module through which the shoppers can earn points every time they shop anything from the website. The Points Earned get added to the shoppers' account automatically. These platinum points can be redeemed on their next purchases at the website. Additionally, shoppers can also earn points by either writing a review about any product or by referring the site to a friend.

We've also incorporated various administrative functionalities, where the admin of the site can keep a track of the gained and redeemed platinum points . The Admin can review the customers' platinum points under the given Platinum Point tab available on the customer listing. When the admin clicks on the tab of a particular customer, the website redirects him to the platinum point detail page, where the admin can review the platinum points and can also review the points based on categories. The Given categories are: Products Friend recommendations, Reviews and Joining Bonus.

As the Beauty Storm is an Interspire based shopping cart, we have modified its existing modules to integrate the Platinum Point functionality. We made sure that the existing modules don't get effected while adding this functionality. The integration was effected successfully and is working fine now.
