Transitionspot - A Website for Guided Career Assessment, Research & Planning

Working on this project, we integrated the most important tool i.e. career planning tool by using the API of bls.gov and o*net. After fetching the information of various career opportunities, we created the robust tool that can be used by a student to plan his future. In this tool, we have integrated a rating system that allows a user to rate any career opportunity as per his/her choice. The student also has a great option to filter the best career plan using the advanced search option. We used  PHP, MySQL, Laravel framework, API integration, Google chart etc., for this project.

User dashboard development

We have also listed items like the images, annual income, career summary, description, educational requirement, compensation, compare, connect, and lifestyle snapshot.  We have also integrated one module budget builder that is internally linked with the lifestyle snapshot. We have also developed another important module on this website which is career matching. In this module, there is an assessment panel related to online assessment which suggests which career is best for a student. The career recommendation is based on the answers that the user gives for the queries asked by the system during the assessment. We have also integrated several charts by using Google chart to shows the various stats.
