Tutors House - Design Change & Module Integration

Client Brief

The client approached us with his existing site and wanted us to change its design and integrate some modules to help it work better.

Our Endeavor

Brief about the website:

The site has been developed in PHP ProLance and is targeted to three types of users on including tutors, students and advertisers. Students post their projects and tutors bid on those projects. Students choose one of the tutors to work their project and finally they pay the tutors the agreed amount once the task has been done. Advertisers, they can post their ads by paying a certain amount on the basis of the area they choose. They can even choose the page where they want to show their ads.

Changed the look & feel:

We have given a very professional look to the website, with clean using blue and black colors combination. As a professional feel was intended, so we have restricted ourselves from adding to much colors or other vibrant elements on the site. We have designed 7-8 mockups for this project of home, static, login, register, search providers and campaign user profiles etc. After getting the client confirmation, we have converted these design mockups in to HTML (div based) and shared with developer for development process.

Customization Done:

We have customized the PHP ProLance CMS and have created several new modules. We have added a functionality where students and tutors can communicate with each other through an internal messaging system. This system is accessible to the registered users only (both students and teachers).

The most important among them is the advertisement module. Using this module, users can signup and post their ads by paying the amount on the basis of area they choose on the page where they wish to show their ad. On a later situation, if needed, they can even login into their account where they can send the request to make changes on the live ads.
