Client Brief

The Special Unit for Technical Cooperation among Developing Countries (SU/TCDC) assists countries to undertake TCDC programmes and activities. The United Nations General Assembly established it within the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) in 1974. Tcdcwide.net is a website for Web of Information for Development (WIDE). We inherited this website. We were asked to revamp the site using the same data and links. TCDCWIDE was conceived as a means of communication and of promoting wider and more effective cooperation among developing countries.

We already had a website when we went to SynapseIndia for a revamping of it. As the previous one did not meet our expectations, we were worried of what we would get the second time around. What we received made us wonder why we did not go to SynapseIndia in the first place. They created a site, which exuded a sober, corporate image. It was user friendly and an interface, which a first time user would feel at home with. Thanks to SynapseIndia, we now have a website which we love and not a website we are saddled with.
