A Multilingual Clinical Website

Client Brief

The client approached us with a requirement of developing a website that would come in two languages - English and Spanish. This clinical website was meant for three types of users - doctors, clinic executives and patients.

Our Endeavor

Ligadoc.com is an online tool to search, compare, and choose doctors and book appointments directly from the website 24/7. The main objective of the site was to facilitate the end users with a complete platform for medical specialists and to alleviate the process of booking medical appointments. As expected, the site is accessible in English and Spanish.

To use the features and functionalities of the site, users need to register on the website, which will enable them to perform some activity as per their role. The dashboard has been made available for the users to manage their profiles and perform the tasks according to their roles.

Different users are having different accessibility. Like:

• Doctors – Doctors can register with the site according to their specialties. The site would allow them to manage their appointments and patient details. The dashboard will help them to keep a track of appointments, patient summary, alerts, leave policy etc. The dashboard offers an intrigue platform for creating new appointments, cancel appointments, and update the status of the added appointments. They can also set alerts for appointments which will prompt about an upcoming appointment. Our developers have also added an email cron which will send emails about the alerts to the doctor's personal email IDs. Going further, doctors can also manage their patients, view patients’ appointment history, block patients from booking appointments.
• Patients – The site has been made equally viable for the patients where they can register and create their profiles, search for doctors, seek & book appointments. They can also set alerts for the appointments which will enable them to get an email alert about the upcoming appointments. They can even can change, cancel appointments before a certain time period of the appointments. Rating and commenting about doctors also come under their accessibility.
• Clinic -  This is a specialized section where clinics can register themselves and add multiple doctors with  multiple specialties. This is more of a community and forum where doctors and patients get a platform to connect with other doctors and patients. Doctors have the flexibility to choose whether they are willing to be a member of any clinic or not.

Overall, the site has been devised keeping in mind that it should a complete solution that would proffer the ideas and goals that the client had in his mind about this project.
