Enhancement on ZOHO CRM Based Web App

Client Brief

The client uses a ZOHO CRM based web app for generating leads. Our task was to set a Cron job for facilitating the task of lead importing.

Our Endeavor

The client uses this web app for his internal usages. We have developed a module to call SlideShare API for fetching record or campaign as well as the corresponding leads that are stored in temporary XML sheet.

On an outset, we have performed the following task to add-in the missing features in the system which is now helping the client to get flawless lead data without much hassle:

• Using SlideShare API to get one of the client's account registered users’ info. 
• Using Cron job to fetch the new users under the SlideShare leads according to the campaign (twice a day). 
• Adding users’ information like first name, last name, email etc.) into Zoho CRM lead module by using ZOHO CRM API. 
• Saving the newly generated XML sheet into a server location and updating campaign ID time to time by checking that XML into ZOHO CRM. 
• Saving the following data into a log file in the server:
• • Total number of lead inserted.
  • Last Insertion time.
  • Tracking the error log, if any.

Update the ZOHO leads according to the campaign name.
