Website for Social Networking 'nicetofindyou' Using PHP

Depending upon the requirement, we have suggested the client that it would be better to customize a third party tool. We have customized the open source Social engine. A new theme has been designed and integrated in the website. Any social networking site is all about making friends and sharing moments with them. To enable the users with this facility, we have created a “Friends” widget and integrated it on the home page for logged in users. Users can post and share photographs on the site. People, who are added in a user’s friend list, can view, like and comment on them. A module called “My Moments” has been created to facilitate the users to create profile details. These details can be made public or can be hide from public viewing. Through “My Moments” users can create a moment and can share it with their friends.

Suppose you have seen someone at IGI Airport New Delhi at 5 PM on a certain date. You can create a moment on www.nicetofindyou.com and provide all the details. Other users can click on the “Find Moments” section and can search for moments. Now, they can join the moment you have created and post comment on that and can share that on their home page as well. Moment can be private, where users need to get approved for his/her moment request to join the moment from Moment creator (owner). If it is not private, user join requests will get auto approved. 

 

Later, the client wanted some enhancements in existing project. We have created a feature where not logged in user can come and comments on room (moments) shared by users. Moment creator will be send an email notification for the same. All added comments will be visible for everyone and can be seen from a specific link http://nicetofindyou.com/room/374.
