Website for Blog About Natural Planet 'Planet Natopia' Using PHP

Planet Natopia is a social community that connects the people, companies and organizations and other disparate interest groups that are passionate about our Natural Planet and a natural lifestyle. The site empowers them to share and inspire others. We have integrated a WordPress based blog in the site, enabling the admin to manage each and every section of it. The blog can be read in three languages and to manage the language we have used the "Transpose" plug-in that helps both automatic translation and manual translation. To manage the blog contributor/guest contributor wise, we have used the WordPress role module. There are several other blog related items like the tag, recent post, contributors, community associated users listing, category wise post listing etc. which had been integrated according to the requisites.

 

Further, the client requested us to implement a booking system in the existing experience website. Client wanted us to develop the booking page using 4 steps and 3 email templates, a gift voucher & experience voucher. We used the Color Theme, Fonts & Graphic styles, Buttons & Forms precisely & smartly to ensure that it  established sync with the existing website theme.

Using CakePHP and MySql, we implemented the functionality to enable the user book an experience for himself. Besides this, user can also gift an experience to someone just by entering the respective recipient details. When a user fills the booking request form by entering 3 preferred dates, credit card details and shipping address, the system would send an email in the user-preferred language to purchased experience provider and admin with all these details. As a token of acknowledgment for it, an email is sent to user.

Later, when provider confirm the availability of experience on user preferred date manually, admin confirms the booking by selecting a booking date and system generates an experience voucher in PDF format in the user-preferred language.  An email is also sent to the recipient with vOUCHER PDF. We also added the functionality to enable admin to set part payment (the payment user has to make during booking post arrival), add discount coupons and give offers against each experience.
