PHP Website for Retail 'Local Renewable Energy Company' - Solar Business

Client Brief

The client approached us with a requirement to develop a shopping cart website where he can sell energy certificates. The website was expected to have a search functionality where users can search for a store as well as its location by entering a zip code.

Our Endeavor

LREC (Local Renewable Energy Company) provides local renewable energy options for people who are thinking about buying Greenpower but want more transparency and the ability to choose where their energy comes from. The client wanted to have a informative site that would also work as an online business entity which will function as an energy store. Our developers have enabled the users to search for energy products & buy them instantly.

Apart from the online selling functionality and integrating the shopping cart, there are some static pages for related contents. Thus it has become evident that our designers have designed a very clean & modern website style with different shades of green & white color schemes. All the contents/blocks/fonts are kept as web 2.0 standards. The outcome was clean and a modern which looked like a contemporary web 2.0 ecommerce website.

Apart from the said things, we have also added a search functionality that helps the users to locate a physical store depending upon the zip codes they would enter. Users can view some listing on home page according to their IP or city. Once a user buys a product, he will receive a certificate in his email after making the payment. Users can also subscribe the certificate on monthly basis. We have also provided process to upload the certificate details through CSV in admin panel. The certificate ID would get generated according to the uploaded data from admin panel.
