U-athlete - A Social Networking Site for Sports or Fitness Groups

To develop the site we have used technologies like CakePHP and MySQL. Alongside we have also created user-friendly functionalities using Ajax/jQuery that have taken the UI of the website to a new level. The site allows the users to interact with each other and can create/participate in the events and also share the availability status for any event with other participants. The site allows fitness coaches to set up teams, invite players and assign privileges. Coaches can manage schedules, check-in status and send messages and alerts to team. Players, in turn, can view team activities, update status, etc.
