Website for Education 'Happy Student' in Wordpress – Online Marketplace

Client Brief

The client wanted us to contrive an ecommerce platform for students from where they can purchase books and notes.

Our Endeavor

We have designed the home page and an inside page template for the site. The featured products were displayed on home page using a jQuery slider. We have modified the colors/fonts of our design based on client requirements/ feedback/ suggestions. After freezing the designs we have converted them into HTML and have forwarded these to our development team for further development process. We have included in the website home page jQuery slider, logo and “Find a Roommate” section. We have integrated the theme in WordPress.

The idea behind getting the site developed, was that the client wanted to possess a student based ecommerce website. Using this, students will be able to register and log-in into the website. After logging in users, can upload the notes/ book along with other necessary information. Other students are expected to come on the website and search and view the useful notes/ books. If he/she wants to download the available notes, they need to pay the specific amount attached with it for a month, 2 months, 3 months. Additionally, the website allows the students to add and search roommates. They can even search for rooms or only roommates. In case the students want to add their roommates, they need to purchase the subscription for a certain period.

We have integrated the PayPal payment gateway in the website. Student will be able to download any class notes/ books after paying the fixed amount for each notes/ books. We have created the functionality to admin can manage all subscription data from admin panel. We have also created the functionality to register/login in to the site to use it's utilities.
